In it’s infinite wisdom to keep itself in the ratings gutter, NBC took off one of its only promising new dramas off the air for months and months, just long enough for us all to forget it every existed in the first place. Why, just the other day I wondered to myself, “When is that show with the Dad from the Twilight movies coming back on?” And I am a person who is so obsessed with television that I refer to it as a hobby, and keep a pretty close eye what is happening out there in TV land. What about your average TV viewer who is too busy with their families and looking for jobs and generally trying to just get by to troll the interwebz for nuggets and rumors of when this show or that show will be airing again.
Anyhoo, the info is beginning to trickle out, as Revolution is coming back March 25th. I have yet to see any big, grand advertising saga scream this to me from NBC itself, but stuff is starting to show up online. Today I see they have released the first minute of the Midseason Premiere. Good for them. Introduction by the perpetually positive Erik Kripke and the lovely and talented JJ Abrams.

Nothing earth-shattering, but worth watching if only to remind yourself who the hell is on this show! (F’rinstance, I totally forgot Elizabeth Mitchell was on this show! That’s how long it’s been, people.)
Anyway, at least NBC is putting this on after the premiere of a new season of The Voice. It might actually have a chance.
